Rancho Santa Fe is noticing the global financial impact with interesting rates rising 1/8 percent at the beginning of March. The impact is causing a few issues with more homes being seen on the market.

The following is a summary of the Rancho Santa Fe homes, town homes, and condominiums that are for sale, the inventory available, the median price, and the number that has sold in Rancho Santa Fe. The information was provided by the North County Real Estate Report which is a free real estate market provided to agents for North County home in San Diego.

Single family homes for sale in Rancho Santa that are active, contingent, and pending are at 283. The months of inventory available are at 17.7 months. The median home price is at $2,160,000, which is 2 percent lower than what we saw in February or 2010. Only 14 homes sold in February 2011, which is 7 percent lower than the figures seen in February of 2010.

Rancho Santa Fe Condos and town homes are put together in the report. Today, there are 16 on the market that are active, contingent, or pending at this time. Inventory levels are at 8.7 months. The median price is $550,000, which is the same as February of 2010. In February of 2011, 4 town homes or condos sold which is no different from February of 2010.

From this report, you can see that condos and town homes are doing better than single-family homes. These types of homes seem to be in a good position since the price and amount of sales are the same as one year ago. The inventory is not that bad when compared to single-family homes.
